Thursday 16th May, 2019

The Nigeria Immigration Service wishes to notify the general public that effective from today, Monday 13th May, 2019, it has migrated to a web-based portal for application for Visa on Arrival facility.

1. Prior to the introduction of the facility, applicants were expected to forward an application via email or hard copy to the Comptroller General for approval, but with the web-based regime, applicants will be required to log on to where they can apply for the facility, make payment and receive approval online.

2. The Comptroller General of Immigration, Muhammad Babandede, MFR, hereby calls on genuine investors to take advantage of the innovation as it improves migration and transparency in the system in line with the Federal Government’s policy of Ease of Doing Business.
